The Grand Ledge Area Historical Society continues to preserve Grand Ledge’s rich history and to educate the public on the area’s past by hosting its annual home tour. The Historical Society has presented a home tour for 44 years during the Christmas season.  Although the name has evolved over the years, the effort remains the same; each year, the Home Tour committee puts together a robust tour of homes, businesses, and public buildings that showcases a great variety of architectural styles as well as the touches of Christmas cheer. The Holiday Traditions Tour is one of the society’s biggest fundraisers with proceeds going toward promoting the area’s history through educational events as well as maintaining its museum and current collection of documents, photographs, and artifacts.
